I am a senior at the University of Kansas pursuing a Bachelor's of Science in Computer Science with a Business Minor. I have academic and professional experience with machine learning and AI. In my free time, I enjoy going on walks, reading up on stock market news, and creating cool things with AI. I even made this website with it! I have a large skillset revolving the use of AI tools and algorithms, and mainly program in Python.

Part Time MLOps Intern, ZeroEyes
August 2024 - Present
I am continuing my work with ZeroEyes as a part time intern for the fall. I am eager to continue to develop my python programming and learn more about cutting edge object detection algorithms.

Full Time MLOps Intern, ZeroEyes

This summer I worked as a machine learning operations intern for the AI-based gun detection company ZeroEyes. ZeroEyes uses deep learning models which take in security camera footage as input, spot guns in real time, and alert law enforcement and staff in only a few seconds. It was an awesome experience and I had the chance to work with a phenomenal team.

UGRF Program, KU
January 2024 - Present
I was selected from a pool of applicants from the KU School of Engineering to be a part of the inaugural cohort of the KU Undergraduate Research Fellowship (UGRF)Program. The program lasts a year, and students conduct research for two semesters. I have been working under Dr. Sumaiya Shomaji to research novel applications of machine learning. Under her guidance I presented a survey of machine learning in the Construction Industry.

Volunteer Research Assistant, KU
October 2023 - January 2024
After my interest in machine learning was sparked by the Coursera ML course, I decided to get involved with research at my university. I joined Dr. Sumaiya Shomaji, a KU professor who specializes in computer vision, and began working on a project with her group of grad students. Our goal was to develop features to evaluate teachers in a virtually simulated classroom environment. We developed key metrics such as gaze tracking, gait analysis, and attention maps.

Machine Learning Specialization, Coursera
June 2023 - August 2023
In the summer of 2023, I was a sophomore computer science student with no internship. This summer I was also taking Calculus 2 at a local community college, so I decided to supplement my studies by taking Coursera's machine learning course. The day I started learning about the basics of machine learning from loss functions to gradient descent, I decided that this was the career I was passionate about. I finished the course in August, and from that point on, I devoted my time to learning as much as I could about machine learning.
